Western Daily Press man Steve Partridge is about to take to the streets of Paris to run the city’s marathon.
He’ll be jogging past the tourism sights in a bid to raise money towards the fight against cancer in Gloucestershire.
Steve is a former reporter with the Gloucester Citizen, and lives in Gloucester.
He has three previous marathons to his name and feels in danger of becoming hooked!
He said: “I thoroughly enjoy running – after all it’s a great excuse to eat lots of cheesy pizza with a clear conscience.
“The Cobalt Appeal Fund’s Crack Cancer Campaign is a well-known local charity which I have become familiar with through my work as a journalist.
“It does a lot of good work and we know what they stand for.”
