Study Journalism at Goldsmiths, and you’ll be joining a Media and Communications Department ranked amongst the top four in the country in the 2008 RAE. Eighty percent of work submitted was classed ‘World Leading’ and ‘Internationally Excellent’.

We offer full-time Masters degrees, taught by award-winning national and international journalists and broadcasters, with sessions by visiting professionals from London’s media and cultural industries. Our graduates have an excellent employment record – former students work across the sector.

Postgraduate level – we offer MA in Journalism (PTC accredited, covering newspapers, magazine and web), Television Journalism (BJTC accredited and winner of BJTC Award for Excellence in Teaching Broadcast Journalism 2007-8), or Radio (BJTC accredited).

Undergraduate level – choose journalism as an option on many of our Media and Communications degrees.

We also offer – Integrated Degree in Media and Communications, and part-time courses in journalism and media practice, through the Department of Professional and Community Education.
