The Doncaster Free Press is set to take a starring role in a new comedy movie.

Secret Society is one of the latest films to come out of Yorkshire and is about the unusual subject of female sumo wrestlers.

And to help the film, which was shot in Doncaster and the surrounding area, a special Free Press front page was created by the newspaper’s design team – giving the paper a role that is pivotal to the plot.

Yorkshire’s newest film star made its bow at its UK premier this week as part of the Leeds International Film Festival.

Secret Society is now showing nationwide.
