End of 800 years' tradition?

A London-style mayor, voted in and out by the people, could soon be running North East Lincolnshire.

The Grimsby Telegraph has decided to ask its readers for their views on a change which could see the end of the traditional Mayor after 800 years.

Local government reporter Ollie Stone-Lee looked at how the new system would work and then invited views from readers by letter or e-mail.
