Editorial Designer of the Year

Winner: Nick Clarke, South Wales Argus.

All the entrants in this class did credit to their craft, the judges said, but Nick was chosen for “combining strong images; good, careful use of colour; excellent presentation and the all-important ease of reading”.

Highly commended: Phill Probert, formerly of Celtic Newspapers but now with HTV Wales, and 1998 and 1999 winner Marc White (Western Mail).
