The Lincolnshire Echo has been going back to school to encourage pupils to read.
Newspaper staff sat with the children for an hour a week to hear them read from newspapers, magazines and books, to boost reading in schools.
The Echo is just one of a large group of businesses which has joined in with the 12-week reading programme run by the Lincolnshire and Rutland education and business partnership.
Echo editor Mike Sassi said: “Reading is the most fundamental of skills and it is vital all children are given the opportunity to improve.”
