A date with a Dalek, a 130ft abseil and a modelling debut – it’s clear that the girls from the Poole district office of the Daily Echo, Bournemouth, will do anything to get in the paper.

Reporters Paula Tegerdine and Krissy Lloyd have been making the headlines in the Daily Echo – and it’s not for their journalistic ability.

The self-styled prima donnas have been locked in a publicity-seekingbattle with their faces featuring in the paper more often than the editor, Neal Butterworth.

Some of the embarrassing stunts they have pulled to get a glimpse of the limelight would put MPs preparing for a general election to shame!

The fame-seeking saga began when deputy chief reporter Paula stood up to lofty Lorraine Davis and her 49 inch-long legs.

Posing back-to-back with the 6ft 5in Swanage police station desk officer,a slightly shorter Paula was captured struggling to even reach hershoulder.
