Gazette link-up delivers Tees Pride message even further

The Evening Gazette is delivering its Tees Pride campaign message to an even bigger audience after teaming up with a local broadcaster.

The paper is fighting to make Teesside and the Tees Valley area a better place to live, work and do business, and has now joined forces with Teesside radio station 96.6 TFM.

The link-up will see all the latest campaign news featured in a weekly report on the station’s popular discussion show Tom’s Talk In.

Gazette editor Steve Dyson said: “Tees Pride is all about bringing organisations and people together in partnership.

“So what better way than to join forces with a broadcast partner so the Tees Pride message and its successes can reach an even wider audience.”

Tom’s Talk In airs every Sunday to Thursday from 10pm to 1am, with the Tees Pride report now featuring every Thursday.

Presenter Tom Davies said: “The issues tackled under the Tees Pride banner are certainly leading to plenty of debate.

“The programme does tend to deal with the blacker side of life. Often people call because they need help or things aren’t going well.

“But there’s a lot going on in this area that we need to be proud of. Tees Pride is helping us redress that balance.”
