Bucks to host Big Brother II?

Big Brother-mania may be a distant memory now, but the Bucks Herald is planning to resurrect the concept to show the world how local people celebrate Christmas.

The newspaper is appealing for a family to volunteer to have a webcam put in their house over the Christmas period.

Their festive celebrations will then be broadcast live over the Internet for the whole world to see.

The chosen family will also receive a surprise gift from the Herald which will be announced nearer the time.

And all people have to do to apply is write to the newspaper giving their name and address and the number of people visiting the house.

In a bid to attract entrants, the Herald said: “This is the chance of a lifetime – it’s probably only the Queen who’ll be seen in more homes this Christmas.

“You can wave at all your friends and relatives around the county, around the country, and around the globe.”
