When people found their passage blocked at a public convenience, staff at The Citizen had a bird’s eye view of their latest exclusive.
The door of the public toilets opposite their Gloucester offices had been superglued shut by vandals, so the paper ran a story about visitors making a cross-legged detour across the town to the nearest alternative. Needless to say, it didn’t make the splash.
