Business Journalist of the Year:

Business Journalist of the Year by the narrowest of margins was last year’s runner up, Jennifer Chapman of the Cambridge Evening News.

She was praised for “a refreshingly different approach which was entertaining and spans a wide area of business delivering an unusual mix of items for all types of readers.”

The judges praised her ability to make even the stuffiest business story amusing.

Highly commended in this category was Brian Milligan from BBC Newsroom South East.
