The Birmingham Mail has topped the online charts for growth for the third time in four months, according to the latest of Trinity Mirror’s monthly ABCe updates.
The statistics for April show the Mail’s website achieved a 70.6 increase in daily average unique browsers over the course of the month, when compared with the same period last year.
A total of 358,843 readers visited the newspaper’s site each day throughout the month.
The Mail also topped the same metric across all TM titles for the months of January and March this year.
It is also the second month in a row that the Mail has been number one in the company’s Twitter growth table, with a 64.4pc year-on-year rise leaving it with 233,201 followers.
On Facebook, Southport weekly The Visiter achieved the greatest increase in Facebook likes between March 2016 and March 2017, with an 82.6pc increase now leaving it with 15,234 people following its updates on the social media site.
