The Goole Times and Selby Times newspapers, two paid for newspapers in Yorkshire, are looking for a motivated reporter to join their busy newsrooms.

The successful applicant will have an excellent command of written English and be able to work accurately and to deadlines.

Ideally, you will have some news reporting experience and hold some journalism qualifications.

The post is for 37.5 hours per week and could be based at either our Goole or Selby office. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Consideration could also be given to the post being part time, either three or four days per week. Please specify this in your application.

A good knowledge of the local area would be an advantage. A full driving licence and own vehicle insured for business use is required.
