Regional journalists are being urged to apply for an annual awards scheme celebrating the nation’s best cricket coverage.

Submissions are being welcomed for the 13th annual ECB Domestic Cricket Journalism Awards, which feature a specific prize for Regional Newspaper of the Year.

The award was last year claimed by the Liverpool Echo, which also scooped the honour for Outstanding Newspaper Coverage of Domestic Cricket.

The other awards on offer are the Christopher Martin-Jenkins Young Cricket Journalist of the Year, Christopher Martin-Jenkins Domestic Cricket Broadcaster of the Year and Outstanding Online Coverage of Domestic Cricket.

The awards are presented by the England and Wales Cricket Board in association with the Cricket Writers’ Club.

The closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 16 February 2024. More information can be found here.
