National World title to move into state-of-the-art office

A city title is to move to new state-of-the-art offices adjoining those of a group of recently-acquired sister titles.

Manchester World is moving into new offices on the 24th floor of prime city centre location City Tower alongside National World colleagues Insider Media.

Between them they will occupy around 4,500 sq ft of office space at the Piccadilly Gardens block after a lease was agreed with Schroders Capital’s real estate asset management team.

Manchester World team has previously been on Chorlton Street, at the offices which have been Insider’s home for the last 25 years.

Editor Adam Lord said: “We have some big plans for Manchester World in 2024 and what better place to execute them than in a landmark office building with a bird’s eye view of our brilliant city.

“We look forward to working with our colleagues at Insider and telling the stories that matter about the great people that make Manchester the world-leading city it is today.”

Insider publishes six magazines under the ‘Business Insider’ brand, covering the Midlands, North-East of England, North-West, South-East, South-West, Wales and Yorkshire.

Originally launched in 2005, it was sold to National World in May 2023.

Manchester World was one of eight websites launched by National World in major metropolitan centres in August 2021.

Adam, previously audience editor at the Lancashire Post and the Blackpool Gazette, took over as editor in July 2023 following the departure of launch editor Jenny Simpson.
