Publisher creates dedicated editor role in bid to boost property coverage

Chloe ShakesbyAn independent publisher has created a dedicated editor role in a bid to boost its property coverage online.

Tindle Newspapers has launched a new property section which is available on all of its Devon sites including the Crediton Courier, Mid-Devon Advertiser, South Hams Newspapers and Tavistock Times Gazette.

It comes after a recent survey by the publisher showed more than 50pc of Devon residents are planning to move within the next three years.

The coverage will be led by Chloe Shakesby, pictured, with support from Tindle’s news teams in Devon.

Chloe joined the company as a digital property writer in June, having previously worked as a news and features writer for press agency Media Drum World.

Tindle digital editor Emily Woolfe said: “We already know our readers love our property articles. So it makes sense to bring them all together in one place.”

Commercial digital officer Neil Webster added: “Our property online sections offer a host of complementary advertising opportunities, including multi-format packages and native advertorial features to deliver compelling messages.”
