Digital subscribers given advanced e-edition access to weekly

A weekly newspaper is giving paying digital subscribers advanced access to its new e-edition as part of an enhanced package.

The Hampshire Chronicle has launched an e-edition as an exact replica of its print product, which will be available to subscribers before it hits newsstands each week.

An e-edition archive dating back to December last year has also been launched as part of the Winchester-based Chronicle’s subscriptions push, with more back issues due to be added soon.

Standard subscriptions to the Newsquest-owned title cost £4.99 per month, although an offer of four months for £4 is currently available.

Editor Kimberley Barber said: “After months of work from the team, I am delighted to see a digital version on our homepage.

“It means that people can access the carefully curated Hampshire Chronicle as it appears in shops from the comfort of their own homes.

“It also means they have access to it via their tablets and mobile phones, wherever they are in the world.

“It’s great to give our most valued subscribers an extra benefit too. We really appreciate their support – I encourage everyone to give it a try, I am sure you will enjoy it.”
