The Wales Media Awards is currently welcoming entries for 2023 with 18 different prizes on offer.

Entrants have until 14 July to make their submissions for the 2023 edition of the awards, which are now being run by the Wales branch of the Journalists Charity.

Last year, Will Hayward, Welsh Affairs editor at the Wales Online and Western Mail, triumphed in four categories.

Will, pictured, won the overall Journalist of the Year honour, Feature Writer of the Year, Newspaper Journalist of the Year and Political Journalist of the Year.

Around 200-plus guests including editors, journalists and students, are expected to attend the awards dinner which will take place at Cardiff’s Parkgate Hotel on 10 November.
