A weekly newspaper has announced the launch of new digital titles to serve five towns across its patch.

The Hereford Times is launching weekly newsletters for Bromyard, Kington, Ledbury, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.

The free newsletters will accompany a twice-daily general Herefordshire bulletin produced by the Times, which is sent out at 8am and 5pm.

The move was announced in a message to readers by editor John Wilson, pictured.

John wrote: “We are producing weekly newsletters for each town. They are completely free and are emailed direct to your inbox every week.

“It means you will be kept up to date with all the latest from the courts, councils and local schools.

“We’ll tell you about the people and issues making the news in your community, as well as all the latest developments that affect your life and, of course, the little things that make you smile.”
