Journalism students’ investigative work has been featured in a special supplement published by a regional daily.
The probe by students at the University of Sheffield appeared in an eight-page pullout in the Sheffield Star.
Featured in the supplement were pieces examining how the cost-of-living crisis is impacting families across the city.
The Star also splashed on the investigation yesterday, pictured below.
Posting on Twitter, editor Nancy Fielder wrote yesterday: “Devastating damage to Sheffield lives and getting worse every day.
“Today’s Sheffield Star has a special investigation by the fabulous University of Sheffiled journalism students.
“So proud to work with them.”
Michelle Rawlins, who teaches at the university, added: “A huge well done to our amazing MA students who have worked so hard to produce this hard-hitting investigation into how the cost-of-living crisis is impacting families, published in today’s Sheffield Star.
“Fantastic students. Fantastic staff.”
