Accreditation boss moves to newly-created post with NCTJ

Emma Robinson 1The NCTJ’s accreditation chief is moving to a new role as the organisation bolsters its marketing team.

Emma Robinson has announced she will be moving to a newly-created post with the NCTJ as its marketing and communications manager.

Emma, pictured, has served as the charity’s accreditation manager since 2018.

She will report to NCTJ head of marketing & communications Sarah Rix.

Prior to being headhunted by the charity, Emma worked for Newsquest in Essex and held roles including deputy chief reporter, crime reporter and content and audience manager.

Posting on Twitter, Emma wrote: “I’m very excited to move into a new role as marketing and communications manager at the NCTJ.

“I’ve really enjoyed working in accreditation, quality and standards to support accredited courses.”

An NCTJ spokeswoman said: “We’re delighted that, following a strategic review of the NCTJ’s communications, Emma Robinson is moving into the newly-created role of marketing and communications manager.

“She will work closely with Sarah Rix, head of marketing and communications, to implement the charity’s new action plan to enhance its core mission and reputation for quality, diversity and trust.
