Editor takes on new PR role after leaving regional publisher

Michaela Robinson-TateAn editor has left a regional publisher to take on a new role in public relations.

Michaela Robinson-Tate, who was editor of Newsquest-owned regional interest magazine Cumbria Life, has taken up a new post with Lancaster-based digital marketing agency SQ Digital.

Michaela, pictured, will work as PR and content manager for the firm, and has been “tasked with promoting SQ Digital and ensuring that its name is synonymous with the best digital marketing services”.

She has previously worked as a journalist on newspapers, BBC radio and magazines in Lancashire and Cumbria. Sarah French has been appointed by Newsquest to replace Michaela at Cumbria Life.

Michaela is joined at SQ by two other new recruits – business development manager Andy Cruxton and content marketing manager Mike Atherton.
