A regional publisher has launched a podcast specifically targeted at parents living in London.

Archant’s London Parentcast is aimed at mums and dads in the capital “seeking that elusive work-life balance”.

The podcast is presented by Victoria Purcell, editor of Archant’s London lifestyle website The Resident.

Episodes will see Victoria talk to parents who have built an online following for their parenting advice.

In an announcement about the first episode’s launch, Victoria wrote: “From tips for a smoother school run to family fun at the weekend and finding the time to engage with your social media audience, she will be asking ‘how do you do it?’.

“Plus mummy-bloggers and daddy-grammers who have done such a cracking job of conquering social media that they’ve been able to give up the day job and become full-time influencers. Now ain’t that just living the dream.

“In this first episode, Victoria speaks to Lady Wimbledon, aka Sandra Strachan, a self-employed mother of three who has racked up 16,000 followers on Instagram and 11,000 on Twitter, and also runs a digital media and PR agency called Bombshell Consultancy.”
