Local TV network appoints new channel controller

Mark BosA local television network has appointed a new channel controller and commercial programme director.

Made Television has announced Mark Bos, left, will take over the newly created positions, which will be based in Birmingham.

Mark has more than 30 years of experience in television, having previously worked for the likes of ITV and BBC, and on programmes including Escape to the Country and Grand Designs.

He will report directly into Dave McCormack, COO of Made Television, and will join the network’s senior management team.

Said Dave: “I am thrilled to have secured such a seasoned, driven and talented professional to the Made Television team.

“Mark is well respected within the industry and I am looking forward to seeing him apply his significant expertise and energy to the creation of some stand-out content for the network.”

Mark added: “I’m looking forward to embracing the many challenges that lie ahead and to working closely with everyone at Made TV to deliver great content and build upon the fantastic success of the Network, to date.”

Made TV runs eight city stations across the UK.
