MP turned columnist wins Regional Financial Journalist of the Year

conal-gregoryA former MP and regional daily writer has been announced as the winner of a financial journalism award.

Conal Gregory, personal finance editor of the Yorkshire Post, received the Regional Financial Journalist of the Year prize at a ceremony in London on Thursday evening.

Conal, a former stockbroker, has written for the Post since 2004, offering weekly features and his ‘Ticked Off’ column.

He also served as MP for York between 1983 and 1992.
