Two stalwarts of Birmingham Press Club have stepped down as directors after more than a decade.
Tony Bell and Phil Parkin, who have been members of the club for over 30 years, were thanked for their past services by president Bob Warman and director Llewela Bailey at a recent club event.
They were handed bugles – produced by craftsmen at Birmingham-based Acme Whistles – an thanks for their outstanding contributions.
The instruments are traditionally presented to guest speakers at the club as a gesture of thanks.
