Former picture editor at Scottish daily dies aged 73

The funeral of a former picture editor at The Scotsman is due to take place in Edinburgh today.

Stewart Boyd, who was picture editor at the daily newspaper until 1992, died last week aged 73.

A notice published in the paper said that a celebration of Stewart’s life will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium, Edinburgh at noon today.

Donations in his memory will go to the Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh and the Dunbar branch of the RNLI.
