More judges named as awards deadline nears

Eight more names have been added to the judging panel for this year’s Online Media Awards, entries for which close tomorrow.

The awards, designed to reward the best application of talent and technology online, are supported by HoldtheFrontPage, the Press Association, the NUJ and the Society of Editors.

Additional judges joining the panel are:  Mark Coyle, editor of BBC London 2012, Liz Vercoe, former deputy editor of the Radio Times, Maria Eftimiades, former New York Bureau Chief at People magazine, Mark McSherry, former editor/writer for Reuters, Maggie Hall, former Daily Mirror journalist, Matt Storin, former editor of the Boston Globe and the Chicago Sun-Times, Bill Hagerty, editor of the British Journalism Review, and Elaine Whitfield Sharp, journalist and lawyer who founded Lawyers’ Weekly USA.

Last minute entries for the awards can be submitted here up until 5pm on Friday 23 March.
