A team from the Cambridge News will be battling stiff knees and saddle sores this weekend as they embark on an 89-mile cycling adventure across England.
News editor Paul Holland and Darren Smith from the internet team will be joined by four IT staff in Oxford in the early hours of Sunday morning for the journey to Cambridge.
The route takes them from the centre of Oxford and on to Marsh Gibbon, Drayton Parslow, Woburn, Northill and Gamlingay before finishing at Midsummer Common, Cambridge.
They have so far collected £160 with proceeds from the sixth annual event going to the British Heart Foundation.
The group have been blogging about their progress on cambridge-news.co.uk since they took the decision to attempt the bike ride early in the summer.
