Oo-arr! Snap-happy Jason is picked for Wurzels work

A photographer with Mid Somerset Newspapers was in the right place at the right time and his work is now gracing the cover of a greatest hits album by local legends The Wurzels.

Jason Bryant gave the country icons a lift from The Crown pub at Pilton to a nearby farm where a combine harvester had been set up for a pre-arranged photocall for The Sun.

Freelancer Jason said: “It’s great to be associated with The Wurzels.

“They are a wicked band and even if you don’t like their music, the lyrics are certain to make you smile.

“On reaching the farm I set up a couple of shots and thanks to EMI Gold product manager Jon Wilson my work is now on the front cover of the album.

“I would love to do more albums and just hope Nelly Furtado, the new Madonna, signs me up next time,” he added hopefully.
