The Herald in Glagow has unveiled a new-look website after listening to the views of its online users.

Theherald.co.uk has been redesigned with the aim of making it easier to navigate and read.

Visitors to the website can now increase and decrease the size of the text in news stories to make them easier to read, and a small number of images have been introduced for the first time to help improve understanding and reader value.

Readers will also be able to find past news stories and features more easily with an enhanced search facility which allows users to search for items specific to a Scottish locality.

A new Week in Pictures section has also been launched, where a selection of images by The Herald’s photographers will be on display.

Theherald.co.uk now attracts an average of almost 500,000 unique visitors a month.
