Metro Scotland extends to Dundee

The Scottish edition of Metro has extended its distribution to Dundee.

The paper wants to reach to new audiences and provide increased opportunities for advertisers.

The distribution points will be placed at strategic locations throughout the city, including railway stations, bus depots and hotels.

The Metro is currently distributed in Glasgow and Edinburgh and the commuter corridor that runs between them.

Mark Hollinshead, managing director of the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail, said: “The extension into Dundee allows us to continue to tap into an affluent, young, ‘urbanite’ demographic, enhancing our offering to advertisers and deepening our presence in the local markets.”

Metro is targeted at young, affluent and ‘urbanite’ readers. It offers the latest national and international news – along with local information on entertainment listings, weather and travel. Do you have a story about the regional press?
