Former Lancaster Guardian editor Anne Rothwell is today due to co-host a workshop on successful public relations.

She will work with PR expert Jackie Harris at the free event at Lancaster University Management School.

Together they will explain the secrets of how companies can get themselves noticed by the media.

The event will involve a presentation, followed by workshops which will show business people how to put together press releases and a discussion on media issues.

Anne has been a journalist for 25 years and is now operations manager at Charter Solutions Marketing Consultancy. Jackie is an independent PR consultant and runs Brightspark marketing and PR.
