Regional daily launches magazines for schools on patch

A regional daily has launched two new standalone education magazines for schools across its patch.

The Oldham Evening Chronicle has announced the launch of glossy publications Knowledge and Knowledge Primary, which will be available for free at schools and colleges across the Oldham area.

The quarterly publications aim to showcase the good work happening at educational institutions across the Chronicle’s patch.

Knowledge Primary focuses on primary schools while Knowledge, which has appeared as a supplement inside the Chronicle for the past six years, focuses on secondary, further and higher education.

Knowledge Oldham

Chronicle managing editor David Whaley said: “We felt it was time to step up with our Knowledge brand and the delivery of these two magazines is a real statement of intent.

“We are committed to help the sector showcase its best practice and do so in a way that promotes Oldham in a positive manner.

“Our team has delivered two excellent issues and we expect these to be a great platform for education in the coming months.”

The magazines will also be available to read on the Chronicle’s website.
