People interested in hyperlocal news are being urged to attend an event in Birmingham next month which organisers are calling an “unconference.”

The event, entitled #TAL12, is being staged by community websites Talk About Local and n0tice.

It will be held on Saturday 28 April at Maple House in Central Birmingham. Similar events have already been held in Stoke-on-Trent, Leeds and Cardiff.
