There’s nothing more socially unpleasant than a row of drunk men (and sometimes women) urinating into shop doorways or onto streets during nights out on the town.
But police and Eastleigh Borough Council, in Hampshire, are considering putting up wheelie bin urinals in a bid to curb the social menace.
The devices, aimed squarely at men, would convert the urine into bio-fertiliser and the chairman of the local town centre partnership called it a “superb idea”.
What do local authorities on your patch think? Do the police have arrest figures for this sort of anti-social behaviour?
Also, why not gee them up a little and beat Eastleigh Borough Council to the punch by having your own scheme introduced?
