Teaching primary about the bottom line

Would-be pitchers to the Dragons’ Den should be getting much younger.

One of the stars of the hit BBC show Peter Jones told the launch of a national enterprise scheme that primary school children should be taught how to run a business.

Is this really a good idea? Surely primary school kids need to get a grip of basic maths before trying to fathom a balance sheet?

Or is that mentality outdated in the competitive 21st century and all education is good education?
