George Wheatman, editor of the SE Lincs Target Series, is to retire at the end of the year. The 66-year-old has spent more than 50 years working for newspapers in Boston, starting out as a trainee for the Lincolnshire Standard
Print changes result in job cuts
Pressure for colour pages has resulted in some printing being moved from the Lincolnshire Echo plant to presses at the Grimsby Telegraph, resulting in the loss of 25 jobs in Lincoln. Most of the staff are nightshift workers involved in
