OFFICE BASED POSITION for LOCAL NEWSPAPER IN PRINT FORM.

SUB_EDITOR experience and WORKING KNOWLEDGE of EDITORIAL REGULATIONS ESSENTIAL. Also ESSENTIAL someone with experience using Quark Xpress for page make-up and experience of page layout.

Must be able to edit copy to fit space and CONSTRUCT APPROPRIATE HEADLINES in line with style of our publication. Work to deadlines. JOB-SHARE efficiently with the other Sub-Editor (office days different). Support junior journalists. Write features and articles as part of the editorial team.
