The Evening Times is seeking a senior reporter to become an important part of its team based in Glasgow.
You will have a great news sense, outstanding writing ability, speed and accuracy, and the confidence to work under pressure.
You will thrive on the challenge of breaking exclusive stories and deliver fresh, innovative ideas to enhance our coverage and engage with our audience.
You will have a proven track record of delivering stories that excite, entertain and inform in equal measure, as well as experience working in a daily newspaper environment.
Extensive experience of court reporting would be an advantage, as well as a full understanding of the workings of local and national government.
Experience and knowledge of digital media and social networking is essential, and an ability to show previous success in these areas would be an advantage.
Qualified to NQJ level or equivalent and possessing a full and clean driving licence, applicants should be able to demonstrate a passion for the job and a comprehensive knowledge of the circulation area - one of the most exciting in regional journalism.
The successful candidate will be based at our Renfield Street head office, also home to The Herald, The Herald on Sunday, The National, The Sunday National and Clyde Weekly Press.
