The Midland News Association, publishers of the Shropshire Star and Express & Star, is looking for senior journalists to join its team.
This is the ideal role for an ambitious, dedicated and enthusiastic writer with a proven track-record of digging out the best off-diary news stories, features and analysis. You should be comfortable writing for a range of publications including newspapers and magazines.
We are looking for journalists able to come up with ideas and deliver compelling content on a consistent basis.
You must be an NCTJ-trained journalist, able to deliver accurate, entertaining copy to meet strict deadlines. You must have a full, clean driving licence. Some experience of working in a newsdesk role would be an advantage.
