The award winning Society of Editors Daily Newspaper of the Year (below 20,000) The Mail, in Barrow-in-Furness is looking for new reporters.
The busy three edition, campaigning daily newspaper is part of Newsquest - one of the country's leading regional media companies.
The vacancies available are for a number of trainee and senior reporter roles.
South Cumbria is a beautiful part of the world to live and work and offers reporters a wide variety of stories to get their teeth into. This year alone the paper has covered big national stories ranging from the influx of high profile drugs death in Barrow, a visit from the Prime Minister and other high profile ministers as well as the government investing millions of pounds into the BAE Shipyard.
To be considered for these roles, you will have passed your NCTJ prelims with shorthand and/or be fully NQJ qualified already.
