Based in beautiful Edinburgh, we ferret out stories, pictures and videos that regularly feature in the Scottish, UK and international media.

And yet again, we’ve room on the team for a young reporter who’s bold, determined, imaginative, flexible, energetic - and willing to learn.

Whether you're already working or looking for your first "proper" job, we'd like to see evidence of the qualities listed above, as well as a genuine passion for news, just as much as hearing about academic qualifications.

Probably the most important formal qualification you’ll need is a full driving licence. After that, shorthand is essential but arrangements can be made to learn (or speed up) on the job. We can also offer the chance to learn or develop multimedia skills, particularly through our in-house photography/video team.
