Newsquest Bucks & Berks is looking for three journalists to join our talented team of multi-media reporters.
This exciting opportunity could see you work for some of the UK’s best-performing newspapers, 24/7 websites and magazines, including The Reading Chronicle, Bracknell News and Slough Observer.
We are looking for self-motivated and talented reporters to join our award-winning team.
The successful applicant for this role needs to be an enthusiastic self-starter who can find stories, make contacts and fit in with our hard-working team, writing across print, web and social media.
They will also have excellent news sense and the desire to see their name on the front page, while a good writing style and attention to detail is a must.
They would be required to write and upload breaking news and features, and have a flexible attitude to working hours in order to meet the demands of a busy news schedule.
Applicants should ideally be qualified to NCTJ preliminary standard with shorthand at 100 words a minute.
Candidates must also hold a full, clean driving licence.
