We are recruiting for an experienced and well-organised digital specialist with excellent communication skills to help our editorial team stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advances in digital journalism.
With a solid editorial background and experience of coaching, you will work across the Eastern Daily Press, Norwich Evening News, East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star newsrooms to organise online modules, in-house training workshops and hands-on courses for reporters, editors and the wider content team.
Joining a forward thinking and enthusiastic team, you will cover a broad range of skills needed in a modern content room focusing on social media, SEO, analytics, digital storytelling, video, podcasts, data journalism, CMS and more, using all of the tools at Archant’s disposal.
This role is offered on a part time basis, based on two days per week. We are happy to take a flexible approach to which days are worked and how they are fulfilled.
In return we offer a salary of up to £35,000 pro rata for part time and excellent benefits including 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata) and a contributory pension and life assurance scheme (after qualifying period) and a wide range of voluntary benefits including a Cycle to Work scheme, Westfield Health Scheme and Archant Gold, charity matched funding.
