THE Evening Times is on the lookout for a crime and investigations reporter to form an important part of our news operation in Glasgow.
We're looking for an experienced senior reporter with the hunger and bravery to root out the hard news exclusives that make Glasgow tick.
The right candidate will have an extensive list of contacts, a knowledge of crime in the city and an eye for a story coupled with the determination to get it that will set them apart from the competition.
Experience working at the sharp end of a daily newsroom environment is essential, as is an in-depth knowledge of how to make a story work for a demanding digital and print audience.
Working as part of a fully multi-media newsroom, the successful candidate will also be comfortable creating video content both in front and behind the camera.
We are looking for someone with the intelligence, persistence and meticulous attention to detail required to investigate complex issues and deliver the stories the Evening Times audience demands.
The right candidate will have extensive experience covering court business, and a full knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved.
This position requires the ability to work independently in the field, and as such a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.
There will also be the opportunity to work with trainees to help mould and develop their skills and strengthen the team.
