Role: Audience Engagement and Social Media Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £22,860 - £25,128

Closing date: 21 November 2021

Location: RCN HQ Central London - Initially the successful candidate will be required to work from home predominantly as a COVID-19 organisation measure which will be regularly reviewed.

Interviews and assessment: Interviews will be held via MS Teams

RCNi is the premier provider of innovative and creative information solutions for the whole nursing team and associated health professionals.

We publish Nursing Standard magazine, along with a suite of other journals and products online and in print, that aim to inspire and support the nursing workforce.

Nursing Standard was this year recognized as a ‘shining example of excellence in the industry’, receiving the coveted PPA Chairman’s Award for its COVID-19 resource Centre, campaigning and product development.

RCNi has a great opportunity for an aspiring Audience Engagement and Social Media Assistant. Please see the role description and person specification for further details of this role.

The overall aims of the role are:

  1. Update database of online content metrics
  2. Post content on social media that supports RCNi editorial strategy. 
  3. Help monitor social media output and its impact
  4. Work to agreed deadlines

RCNi has an office in central London but fully supports agile and flexible working practices. Please note, the role will initially involve remote working while pandemic restrictions are in place.
