Newspaper colleagues will go head to head for a national business journalism award.

The nominations have been revealed for the Headlinemoney Awards, which contains a Local/Regional Journalist of the Year category.

On this year’s shortlist are Emma Newlands, pictured, and Martyn McLaughlin, who both write for The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday.

They are joined by Mark Casci, a Yorkshire Post colleague of last year’s winner Greg Wright.

The Bristol Post’s Hannah Baker and Scottish Field’s Peter Ranscombe complete the line-up.

The winner will be revealed in a ceremony on Wednesday 13 July 2022 at The Brewery, London. The full list of nominations can be found here.
