Publisher to hire 50 digital salespeople in addition to 50 journalists

Henry Faure WalkerA regional publisher which is already in the process of hiring 50 new journalists has announced it is to hire 50 new digital salespeople as well.
Newsquest has annnounced the new recruitment drive as part of the ongoing expansion of its digital marketing operation.
The move follows on from the company’s announcement earlier this month of a £1.5m investment in 50 new digital local journalist roles across the UK.
The new sales consultant roles will be recruited under Newsquest’s LOCALiQ brand,www.localiq.co.uk, which specialises in helping small and medium-sized businesses grow their own digital presence through the group’s 150 news brands.
