New ‘green living’ column launched across publisher’s entire portfolio

Angela TerryAn environmental scientist is to write a weekly column that will be published across a regional publisher’s entire portfolio.

Climate action group One Home has announced the launch of the ‘green living’ column, which will be run each week by JPIMedia’s newspapers and websites.

The column will be written by One Home’s founder, environmental scientist Angela Terry, and will feature tips and eco-friendly celebrity news, as well as practical advice on the lifestyle changes people can make to tackle global warming and adapt to climate change.

It will appear in a total of 172 JPIMedia titles, in print and online.

Ms Terry, pictured, said: “In the wake of COP26, the public understands the gravity of the climate crisis. Nothing short of the future of our planet is at stake.

“We’re all in this together and it’s up to all of us to do our bit to reduce emissions.

“Thankfully, most people are now keen to find out about the lifestyle changes they can make.

“I’m over-the-moon to team up with such a key news organisation as JPIMedia. I set up One Home to provide people with independent, scientifically-accurate advice on how they can make their lives more eco-friendly.

“The Covid pandemic has shown that local newspapers still remain one of the most trusted sources of information, so this column is the perfect vehicle for us.”

JPIMedia print and design editor Neil Pickford added: “We are delighted to be working with Angela Terry and the team at One Home.

“They offer very practical advice for people looking to live a more environmentally friendly life, and I know that this material will be welcomed by our readers in print and online.

“Our newspapers and websites are among the most trusted sources of news and information in the country.

“Working with the One Home team, who offer accurate and trusted advice on a wide range of issues makes it a perfect mutually beneficial partnership.”
